Community Iftar in Bletchley

Friday 22nd March - Palatial Hall

ROQ Raw Radio (Asian Community Radio (ACR MK) were honored to be invited to do a live broadcast from the venue and play a part in the building of great communities

Iftar is the meal Muslim’s have when breaking their fast in the month of Ramadan. Fasting is one of the five pillars of Islam and is a time when Muslims open their doors to family, friends and neighbours. Eating together is one of the most natural ways of developing friendships and breaking barriers.

The evening brought together an array of speakers, prayer, and music.

Guests will share a meal together. A variety of food was provided by #safskitchen #neathhillindiantakeaway #habibtea #mogulrooms #cakeboxmk #bilhana #karwoo

Guests were given the opportunity to record their live Eid messages which will be played on Eid day on ROQ Raw Radio.

You can listen to the live broadcast snippets here.
